Aperture was commissioned to launch 43m3, a space devoted to exploring new possibilities in line, form, thought and dimension. Based in East London, it serves to celebrate the craft of the current, clinical and rebellious, and as a revolving showcase of works that inspire and provoke.
Working with Accept & Proceed, we created a piece that explores the world immediately around the gallery, revealing it in a previously unseen way. The installation focuses on re-evaluating the mundane and everyday by creating something unexpected, using technology, light, form and colour.
With Aperture, the ever-romantic notion of seeking the extraordinary in the everyday is adopted to new ends.
