Judging Children as Children.

The New York Center for Juvenile Justice (NYCJJ) secures justice for children by promoting a model of justice for minors that treats children as children, and responds to their misconduct with strategies designed to improve their chances of becoming constructive members of society.

We established a powerful digital experience, a judicial campaign, and produced videos that helped broaden NYCJJ’s mission to transform the way children under 18 years of age are judged and treated in New York courts. The Center was established by Judge Michael A. Corriero, who was a judge for twenty-eight years in the Criminal Courts of the State of New York.
